Proudly showing off their certificates
At the end of November, three of our children finished grade one Wychwood Primary School. Our two boys received certificates. It was really a happy time for Auntie Barbara and Granny Peggy to see their little boys receiving the certificates.
The boy on the left received a certificate for reading. Auntie Barbara was excited to see that reading to this little boy every night has finally paid off.
The boy on the right received a certificate for Excellent Work. We are so grateful to God's provision in his life. When he came to us at 18 months, he couldn't even roll over or sit up and here he is taking top honours in his class.

Summer fun
Splash, splash.......
It's that time of the year the children love - summer !!! They get to go out to swim and can play outside 'till late.
It's amazing that when we bath the smaller children they usually scream their heads off and want to get out the bath as soon as possible but when they go for a swim they are the first to jump in and splash everyone with water and we struggle to get them out!

Birthday party
When we have birthday parties, the birthday child often won't smile or even look at anyone (performance anxiety?)....... We had one recently for this little boy. He was really excited to celebrate his 3rd birthday. One of our volunteers did face painting on the day which the children really love having done.
A proud boy showing off his cake.
He received lots of presents.

School christmas concert
Finally, all the hard work has paid off! Three of our children were in a Christmas play last night. They had lots of fun singing all the Christmas songs. Almost all of the Lambano children went to watch the production and were enthralled. They joined in the singing and were copying all the actions - we will be hearing these songs the whole of December!!!!!!!!!!!

These are pictures of the newest child to come to Lambano for the Katlehong Township. She is 10 years and 10 kilos. Needless to say, she is very sick and we are hoping to nurse her back to health so that she can return to her family. She highlights why we so urgently need to complete our hospice. There are many like her in the township who need the kind of care she is receiving.
